Organizations

The Office of Environmental Education and Public Affairs maintains a directory of organizations that provide, support or promote environmental education efforts in North Carolina. 

Organizations listed in the directory follow the criteria from the North American Association for Environmental Education's Guidelines for Excellence in Environmental Education. These organizations are committed to presenting fair and accurate information, using constructive techniques to empower people to draw and act on their own conclusions and to providing educational resources that contain concepts, language and activities that are developmentally appropriate for the intended audience.
